Abstract. The article discusses the environmental condition of the air, water, land, biodiversity, flora and fauna of the Volgograd region, changing them, by which to judge the effectiveness of the implementation of environmental activities at the regional level. Special attention is paid to the implementation and financing of environmental programs.
