Abstract. Digital technologies and artificial intelligence systems in particular, are increasingly being used in various fields. This significantly reduces the resources required to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of information and also helps quickly and efficiently develop practical solutions. These technologies are relevant in any field, including agriculture, the industry that ensures the country’s food security. The efficiency of agriculture depends on many factors, but primarily on the quality, fertility, and environmental safety of soils. This article presents an overview of domestic research on the application of advanced digital technologies for agrochemical monitoring of agricultural lands. Machine learning, neural network modeling, and cyber-physical systems for assessing soil quality are considered. Particular attention is paid to the use of classification algorithms, regression analysis, and computer vision systems in crop yield forecasting and land degradation monitoring. The article provides recommendations for the feasibility of integrating digital technologies into agricultural and urban land research, taking into account the regional characteristics of our country. Prospects for the development of robotic solutions and nanotechnology in precision agriculture are discussed.
Key words: agrochemical monitoring, artificial intelligence, machine learning, soil fertility, remote sensing, digital technologies, computer vision.
